new home {in ralston}

We moved in to our house in Ralston last July. After several months of searching for the perfect home, quite a few heartbreaks and 'almost homes' along the way, we finally found it; our house.

After several fails on finding the 'right' home, my sister and I decided to just look around her neighborhood for fun, as luck would have it, we found a house a couple streets over from her home. I quickly followed up with Doug's mom about looking at the house, and before we knew it, we had an appointment to check it out. Doug was busy with work all the days we viewed it, but trusted our opinion, and put an offer down before even seeing his future home.

Our house was originally bank owned, and had quite a few problems to fix. (to be continued...)

For the last couple years my sister and I have gone all out for Kat's Halloween costume. This year she wanted to be a bumble bee, but of course, on the way to Hobby Lobby, Daina and I decided she would be an adorable Starbucks Iced Mocha.
